One of my favorite things about reading David Wiley's works is his candid, approachable, and brief way of writing. He makes good points and gets to the point. This week Wiley gave his vision of building a solid open education infrastructure. It was good for me to chew on this idea. Though I may have my own pieces of OER I'd like to design or use, we need all the pieces of infrastructure in place or my pieces will simply fall over and be rendered useless. I created this sort of hierarchy based on this week's readings, along with Wiley's description of each in hopes that the visual reminder will keep us all aware of the bigger picture and the value of more than just our pet project.
