Using OER-Enabled learning opens the world of education to new opportunities and ways of learning. Sharing information freely does not just apply to teachers as they freely use, reuse, create, and remix flexbooks and other open educational resources. It also means students can, too. Students can create, rebuild, build on others' works, and collaborate while handing down their work to future classes to fine-tune or rethink. OER does not just allow for less expense, but for a future where students and schools work together to create lasting artifacts rather than throw-away assignments.
